Overview
What makes this journey special
Five relaxed days on Zanzibar – a night in historic Stone Town, a spice farm and Jozani forest, then the white beaches of the east coast.
Zanzibar pairs easily with a mainland safari or works as a short holiday on its own. This itinerary starts in Stone Town, the old Swahili trading city listed by UNESCO, before moving to a beach hotel on the east or north coast.
On the way you visit a working spice farm where cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla grow, and Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, home of the rare Zanzibar red colobus monkey. The last days are free for swimming, snorkelling, kite-surfing or simply resting.
Hotels are chosen to suit your budget – from boutique beach lodges to all-inclusive resorts – and Wild Gaze arranges every transfer on the island.
