Booking Terms & Conditions

1
Payment Terms

A binding contract comes into existence when we receive your booking request and a deposit payment. A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to confirm the booking. Certain suppliers impose more stringent payment policies — Wild Gaze Safaris will advise you at the time of booking if additional deposit payments apply.

The balance is payable 30 days before the date of the first service. Should a client fail to remit payment within these timeframes, Wild Gaze Safaris reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply resultant penalties.

2
Cancellations or Changes by Wild Gaze Safaris

Wild Gaze Safaris reserves the right to cancel any booking in respect of which payment has fallen in arrears. Relevant cancellation penalties will be payable by the client or deducted from any deposit payments already made.

Note: In the unlikely event that Wild Gaze Safaris has to cancel, amend or curtail your travel arrangements due to our negligence or breach of our contractual agreement, we will take full liability. From your first enquiry to your return home, a dedicated consultant will manage your travel arrangements.

3
Third-Party Suppliers

Wild Gaze Safaris acts as a booking agent for hotels, airlines, ground transporters, boat operators, and other independent contractors. Each is an independent company not subject to the control of Wild Gaze Safaris.

Wild Gaze Safaris will not be liable for personal injury, property damage or loss arising from subcontracted services. However, we always endeavour to contract companies that deliver services at the appropriate quality while adhering to local laws. Should any supplier be unable to deliver, we will offer alternative arrangements of similar classification wherever possible.

4
Special Requests & Important Information

The client must advise Wild Gaze Safaris in writing — either directly or through their travel agent — of any special requests or important personal information such as dietary requirements, physical disabilities, or any need for special treatment or handling at the time of booking.

Providing this information in advance allows us to ensure your travel arrangements are tailored appropriately and every aspect of your safari is managed with the care and attention it deserves.
