Climb Kilimanjaro

Africa's Highest Summit

Snow-capped Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain and the world's tallest free-standing mountain at 5,895 metres above sea level. Its three volcanic centres — Shira (4,160 m), Kibo (5,895 m), and Mawenzi — rise dramatically from the northern Tanzanian plains.

Widely considered the Roof of Africa, climbing Kilimanjaro is one of the great trekking experiences the world has to offer. The mountain can be climbed year-round, with all five popular routes — Machame, Marangu, Lemosho, Rongai, and Umbwe — being non-technical and achievable by anyone in normal physical condition.

Wild Gaze Safaris operates three of the most rewarding routes, each with expert guides averaging more than ten years on the mountain, premium camping equipment, and oxygen on standby. Every departure is guaranteed from the moment your deposit is received.

Expert Guides · 10+ Years Each

Our full-time mountain guides hold WFR wilderness first-aid certification and carry emergency oxygen and a pulse oximeter on every ascent. Maximum 6 climbers per guide.

Guaranteed Departures

Once your deposit clears, your climb departs on the scheduled date — no minimum group size, no last-minute cancellations, no supplements for solo travellers.

All-Inclusive Packages

With an extra day for altitude adjustment, it achieves the highest summit success rate on Kilimanjaro.

6 Days Rongai Route

The only route to approach Kilimanjaro from the north, near the Kenyan border, the Rongai offers an entirely different perspective on the mountain — drier semi-arid moorland, fewer crowds, and a gentler gradient. Particularly recommended during April and May when the southern routes receive heavy rainfall. Wildlife sightings — elephant, buffalo, colobus monkey — are common in the lower zones.

Day 1Rongai Gate (1,950m) → Simba Camp (2,625m)
Day 2Simba Camp → 2nd Cave Camp (3,450m)
